"Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom.
Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power." -Laozi
"Know thyself." -Socrates
This is what we will do together, continue to deepen your self-understanding and how that perception/experience informs how you think and feel about yourself, as this impacts how you show up for others in relationships, and in the world in general.
I use an integrated form of treatment that includes considering how your memories, your family history, and your social-emotional history all impact(ed) your neurophysiology and how you construct meaning. Meaning about your self-worth, your value, your abilities, how you show up in intimate relationships, with friends and family and in professional settings. All these constructs are impacting how you move, act, think, and relate in the world. Through this, we will discover what is truly important to you, and work on more intentionally aligning your values with the kind of life you want to live.
I specialize in treating couples and individuals who have experienced family and life-event trauma, cultural and identity issues, depression and anxiety, loss, and life-stage transitions. We will work on identifying the specific social, emotional, cognitive, and somatic tools that will address your self-identified mental health goals.
I want you and your needs to be my main focus, therefore I am not personally contracted with any insurance companies. And I know treatment costs can be prohibitive, therefore I offer a sliding scale (see below) for individual, and couples and family work. I will provide you with Superbills that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
If you'd like more information and think we might be a good match for treatment, please send an email and we can set up a free consultation (15-20 mins) to see if my telehealth services are a good fit for your particular needs.
